Become a Trustee

The Members of the trust are the guardians of the governance of the trust and the role is discrete. They are tasked with assessing if the board of trustees is performing well, and that the purpose of the trust and its charitable objects are being fulfilled.

Trustees work together to carry out their core functions:

  • Ensuring there is a clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
  • Holding executive leaders to account for the education performance of the organisation and its pupils and the performance management of staff
  • Overseeing the financial performance of the organisation and making sure its money is well spent
  • Ensuring the voices of stakeholders are heard

The Trust is committed to equality of opportunity for all and aims to develop a culture of inclusion and diversity.
